Drywall

I decided to hire a local company to install drywall on the new walls I put up, around the new windows I framed in, and on the ceiling of the shop.  It was just going to be too hard, too time consuming and too expensive in specialty rental tools to do myself.

Having the space completely drywalled gives me a clean interior shell and lets me strongly insulate the building so I can cut down on heating and cooling costs. The guys used 4'x12' sheets and did a "fire tape" to keep the costs down.  Fire tape is non-living-space quality tape and mud job, just enough to seal the gaps between sheets. I then spent a lot of time filling and sanding the joints until I got them to where I wanted them.
