I have been recording New Yankee Workshop episodes with my ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon video card and saving them on my file server. I've listed all of Norm's episodes below, by season. Episodes in green indicate I have the episode, red indicates I don't have the episode yet. The links take you to the corresponding project page on the NYW site. I don't give away copies of my videos because I won't break Norm's copyright or make him lose out on revenue from his hard work. I have made videos of the Season 18, 19 and 20 New Yankee Web Cam images. I wrote a program to download every image from every day of filming, then I used VideoMach to generate an MPEG file from the string of images. Note that they play *very* quickly so use a player that allows you to slow down the playback so the videos are watchable. Each web cam video is downloadable by clicking below its episode listing. Can you find the "interesting things" in the very first web cam day??? The "DIY Network" channel has made an agreement to broadcast New Yankee Workshop episodes. Strangely, they've started with Season 13, have shown Season 14 and 15 and are now on Season 16. The NYW page on the DIY Network web site shows past and upcoming episode broadcast dates and times. The first broadcast was March 17, 2007. Two episodes will be broadcast each Saturday, repeated multiple times during the day. Note that DIY has chosen to remove some small pieces of each episode to fit into the broadcast time available, so check your PBS copy before deleting if this is a problem for you.
